Spring & Fall Cleanup

Top-to-bottom spring and fall cleanups that get your yard ready for the season ahead.

Spring & Fall Cleanup

Professional spring & fall cleanup in Plymouth, IN

Northern Indiana gives your landscape two hard resets every year — the thaw of a Marshall County spring and the heavy leaf drop of a Plymouth fall. Both moments are make-or-break for how your yard looks and how well it survives the season ahead. Sunshine Landscape handles the seasonal cleanups that bookend the growing year, clearing out the old so your beds, lawn, and plantings can do their best work.

In spring we lift the matted leaves, snapped twigs, and winter grit that pile up under snow, cut back the perennials and ornamental grasses you left standing for winter interest, and re-cut bed edges that frost-heave has blurred. In fall we stay ahead of the leaves coming off our maples, oaks, and ash, clear the beds before the first hard freeze, and put the landscape to bed so it isn't smothered all winter.

Every cleanup ends with the part homeowners appreciate most: all of it hauled away. No tarps of leaves left at the curb, no brush pile waiting on the burn ban, no bags stacked by the garage. Alex and his crew load up the debris and leave you with a clean, finished property you can actually enjoy.

What's included

Everything our spring & fall cleanup covers

Thorough, detail-focused work from a crew that treats your property like its own.

Leaf Removal

We clear leaves from lawn, beds, and hardscapes before they mat down and smother the grass — with multiple passes through fall as the maples and oaks let go.

Bed Cleanups

We rake out beds, pull spent annuals and matted debris, and clear winter dieback so your mulch and plants start the season looking crisp.

Perennial Cutback

Hostas, daylilies, ornamental grasses, and other perennials get cut back at the right time so new growth comes in clean and full.

Spring Prep

We remove winter grit and snow-mold-prone thatch, re-cut frost-heaved bed edges, and ready your landscape for mulch, planting, and the first mow.

Storm & Winter Debris

Downed branches, fallen sticks, and the mess Northern Indiana winters leave behind get gathered up and cleared from the whole property.

Debris Haul-Away

Everything we collect — leaves, brush, and trimmings — is loaded and hauled off-site, so you're not left with piles, bags, or a burn pile to deal with.

Spring & Fall Cleanup FAQs

Spring cleanups work best once the snow is gone and the ground has firmed up — typically late March into April around Plymouth — so we can clear winter debris before the growing season starts. Fall cleanups are timed to leaf drop, usually mid-October through November. Because leaves come down over several weeks here, many homeowners book more than one fall visit.

We haul everything away. All the leaves, brush, and trimmings we collect leave with us — you won't be left with bags by the garage, tarps at the curb, or a brush pile to burn.

It depends on the plant. We leave ornamental grasses and seed-bearing perennials standing for winter interest and wildlife, then cut them back in our spring visit. Anything prone to disease or that turns to mush over winter we clean up in fall. On your walkthrough we'll point out what to cut now versus what to leave.

Mulching light leaf cover into the lawn is fine and even beneficial, but our heavier oak and maple drop will mat down, block sunlight, and invite snow mold over a Northern Indiana winter. A thorough fall cleanup of the lawn and beds protects your turf and gives everything a healthier start come spring.

We provide spring and fall cleanups throughout Plymouth and all of Marshall County, plus nearby communities like Culver, Bremen, Nappanee, and Walkerton.
